Migrating App-V Stand-alone mode to Full Infrastructure mode

Migrating from App-V Stand-alone to Full Infrastructure Mode

This white paper is one of my insignificant contributions to the App-V ecosystem. Please read on…

  • Do you want to migrate from Microsoft App-V Stand-alone mode to a Full Infrastructure mode?
  • Do you want to understand the key considerations for the migration?
  • Do you want to enjoy some of the benefits of the full infrastructure mode e.g. Application Metering, Application Licensing, User-centric application deployment?
  • And perhaps, you do not have Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager deployed in your organisation.

If all these apply to you, then this white paper is for you (and it is free).

One Response to Migrating App-V Stand-alone mode to Full Infrastructure mode

  1. Tony Rilete says:

Great paper. We implemented the App-V solution in a stand-alone mode in 2009 but we have also been considering how to migrate back into full infrastructure mode, whilst also considering the opportunity to integrate with SCCM 2012. This white paper will reduce our planning effort. Do you have anyone planned on using App-V with VDIs?
